Gynoug, or Wings of Wor as it's known in the US, is a SHMUP released for the Sega Genesis or Mega drive in 1991. The game was made by Masaya, the same studio behind the weird Cho Aniki games. This game isn't as wacky or weird as the Cho Aniki games, it's definitely up there as far as weirdness goes for Sega's 16-bit console.
While the better known Sega Genesis / Mega Drive shmups have skyrocketed in price during recent years, Gynoug / Wings of Wor has remained relatively affordable, but is this game still good? Let's find out.
